The Oregon Oldtime Fiddlers Association has been in operation for over fifty years providing family entertainment throughout our state. We play for retirement homes, public events, and occasionally private events. The Hoedowner is the monthly newsletter of the OREGON OLDTIME FIDDLERS' ASSOCIATION. Each month it contains a "Tune of the Month" to learn. Each month except for August (pandemic restrictions permitting), OREGON OLDTIME FIDDLERS District 4 hosts a signup jam at various locations in the district. These are usually held on the first Saturday of the month and the public is invited to attend from 1-3PM. Click on the District 4 Calendar link on the menu bar above for specifics.
We normally offer fiddle lessons for children and adults, but these have been suspended due to the pandemic. They will be resumed as soon as this is safe, so keep watching for the latest information regarding lessons.
